Have a friend that keeps talking about the hobby, or came across some folks laughing and tossing cards across the table at a local coffee shop? Stepped into the game aisle at your local store and was shocked at the unexpected amount of options?
The Settlers of Catan premiered in Germany in 1995, and quickly grew in popularity due to its blend of strategic depth with relatively simple rules.
Board games have blown up in popularity over the last two decades, with more modern options like Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Pandemic joining the classics like Monopoly and Clue on shelves across the country. We would absolutely love to introduce you to them! We've an extended library of games, with both the classics you know and love and these newer options for you to give a shot if you're interested. If you need a little guidance, both with what to play and how to play it, we're more than happy to help. Feel free to stop by, have a seat, and have fun!
For the Occasional Dabbler

We try to follow the latest hotness, and make sure we've got our shelves updated accordingly. Everything from Gloomhaven (with removable vinyl sticker set), to a variety of CMON miniatures games like Rising Sun and Blood Rage, to the seasoned greats such as Agricola or Power Grid. We think you'll find something you like to sate that gaming hunger, and something delicious for that real hunger too.
At the Parlor we aim to be a fun, casual game night alternative to both the kitchen table at home and the foldout table at your FLGS (Friendly Local Game Store). Feel free to stop in. We think you'll find something on the shelf you like.
